About this live event
This continuing education event teaches participants the theory, skills, and methods of Ecosystemic Play Therapy. Participants will learn about the Ecosystemic Play Therapy assessment processes and intervention selection processes used to conceptualize and treat clients. Participants will learn through lecture, video demonstration, interactive practice, case review, and large group discussion. Completion of a Post-test and Evaluation is required for participants to receive CE credit.
Learning Objectives
1. Identify the core theoretical concepts of Ecosystemic Play Therapy.
2. Apply Ecosystemic Play Therapy theory to conceptualize clients.
3. Discuss how assessment of child’s developmental needs informs the identification appropriate interventions.
4. Identify strategies for mobilizing a client’s larger system to effectively and holistically support a client.
5. Practice development of interventions utilizing Ecosystemic Play Therapy model.
6. Assess when Ecosystemic Play Therapy may be an effective intervention for treatment for a client.
