What Makes Us Unique

Our series provides comprehensive training in the nine foundational theories of Play Therapy, along with practical, hands-on interventions that support effective and transformative clinical work with children. Our organization offers in-person, virtual, and self-paced training options.

Each year, in-person training participants may purchase a convenient Season Pass, allowing them to attend 20 in-person trainings in the series and complete additional homework assignments. All trainings count toward the continuing education (CE) requirements for Play Therapy credentialing set forth by the Association for Play Therapy. While our program fulfills the training component, participants must independently obtain the required Play Therapy experience and supervision hours separately, as these are not included.

Those who complete a full season of trainings while simultaneously gaining their experience and supervision hours will be well-positioned to move forward with submitting their credential application. We encourage all prospective participants to review the full credentialing requirements on APT’s website
