About this live event
This continuing education event teaches participants the theory, skills, and methods of Jungian Analytical Play Therapy and Sandtray interventions. Participants will learn about the process and skills used by Jungian Analytical Play Therapists to facilitate catharsis and therapeutic change. Participants will also learn the history, theory, and specifications of constructing a Sandtray and selecting miniatures. Participants will learn and practice skills in an interactive learning format. Completion of a Post-test and Evaluation is required for participants to receive CE credit.
Learning Objectives
1. Recite the core theoretical concepts of Jungian Analytical Play Therapy.
2. Discuss how the identification of archetypes can inform the process of assessment and intervention when working with children and their families.
3. Demonstrate ability to apply Jungian Analytical skills to interpret therapeutic processes.
4. Describe theory and process of constructing a therapeutic Sandtray and selecting miniatures.
5. Demonstrate ability to utilize Sandtray as a tool for therapeutic interventions.
6. Assess when Jungian Analytical Play therapy may be an effective intervention for treatment.
